Wow it has been a while since I have written on here lol last time I was shoveling snow... We now we are gardening gardening gardening.... Spring came late lots of rain so everything is behind.... I have been busy in my studio these days... Sold three acrylic paintings last month, that's always encouraging ! Started doing some art using pen and pencil crayon. I have to admit I am having a great deal of fun with this medium, I should be finished my latest drawing tonight !

So now I am waiting for a nice thunderstorm! I LOVE to work in my studio when there is a nice warm summer rain and thunder and lightning....

So who can get any creative work done when all they do is shovel snow? Usually we don't get a big dump of snow until the first week in December but this year winter has come early to our little town! So after a breakfast of Earl Grey tea and boiled eggs off I go to shovel shovel shovel. Last year we barely got any snow just lots of rain that I prefer!

This snowy weather makes for great photos here in the mountains and at least it isn't too cold out.... We usually have warm winters here.

Winter when I am not shoveling snow lol is a great time to spend hours in my studio since I have no gardening to do. I am working on an acrylic painting for my mom for Christmas and a necklace for a very good friend of mine. Not sure what to do for hubby yet. I don't usually do art things for him because he sees my art all the time lol. Hmmmm he does need a guitar stand?

So tea is drank and eggs are eaten so off I go to shovel shovel shovel......

I have started working on a new pencil drawing. I don't have any of my original pencil art displayed here because the photos aren't that great. They were taken with my very first digital camera not very good lol .

I will try to find some time to photograph my original pencil art some time. When I am finished my latest piece should be by the end of the week. I will be sure to post it on here.

It is difficult to get a good photo of pencil art because the graphite shines! If anyone had any suggestions how to take a good pic of a pencil art let me know.... The drawing I am working on is too large to scan otherwise I would just to that....

Yes it is a cool rainy day my fave! Good time to be creative once I get all my other house hold duties done!

Finally getting the time to add my images to my page. TGIF plan on spending time in my studio this evening!

A great deal of talented artists on here will take a long time to check it all out!
